The forest

The region is recognised for its dense forest by UNESCO and registered as a biosphere reserve. We farm inside it, under the canopy, which is slower than farming in the open and gives a better cup.
The plantation has used 100% organic fertiliser since the nursery was established in 2017 — not as a certification exercise, but because it is how the soil here stays productive.
